With a total quantity nearing one million of
units the firm Mauser, along with the DWM, was a major Luger producer. The Mauser
fabrication started in 1930. A big part of this production is characterized by a specific
hint : the rear frame "bump". This design was intended to prevent the possible
lateral movement of the large rear pin, when the slide was in its full rearward
position. The Mauser Luger production stopped in 1942. To get more information,
