Advanced dismounting of the Sten (II)
Remove the
pivot pin that assembles the trigger to the tripping lever.
Join with a
plier the two branches of the selector retaining split pin, and extract it out.
To remove
the firing selector, push it out from the left to the right of the frame.
Unscrew the
magazine catch retainer and remove it with its washer.
Slide off
the magazine catch retainer.
Tilt the
magazine catch with its return spring, and unhook it from the frame slot.
Join with a
plier the two branches of the magazine housing plunger split pin
Remove the
split pin.
The
magazine housing plunger can be now removed.
Clear the
magazine housing plunger spring.
Remove the
barrel nut catch.
