The Colt model 1900 is the first auto pistol
based on a Browning design produced by the firm. The caliber is .38 ACP (an ammunition
rather difficult to find in Europe). It is the only Colt auto pistol that does not need an
official purchase license in Belgium. Paradoxically, the other models using the same
bullet are sold under the regular firearms legislation (a license is mandatory). To get
more about this model, refer to our book
on the Colt pistols.
