The Model "Government" series 80,
available in three calibres (.45 ACP, .40 SW, .38 Super) and several finishes (Blue
steel, Inox, Inox polished), perpetuates the Colt 1911 lineage, while incorporating all
the necessary improvements required for a modern handgun. Many points were treated to
enhance the grip and the general safety. Some parts are made of polymer (trigger, main
spring housing). The striker safety system obliged to incorporate new components (two
levers, a spring loaded safety block, ...) and to modify many others (extractor,
striker retainer, frame, ...). All this is fully detailed in our book .
